About Abigail
First sessions involve a diagnostic chat to see where your current skills sit. I assess your goals and we create a plan that covers everything from intonation to formal exam preparation. Since I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, I provide a structured environment that feels like a natural conversation.
You will benefit from my 13 years of experience as we tackle the complexities of grammar and speed. Weekly conversation practice recordings reviewed together will be the backbone of your improvement. I find that hearing yourself speak is the fastest way to refine your accent and intonation. This is how I learned, and it remains a core part of my teaching philosophy.

I grew up in Guadalajara and spent 13 years teaching and performing, which keeps my perspective on language very grounded. Having taught many students over these years, I know that conversational fluency relies on listening practice and understanding nuance.
We can compare Latin American vs Castilian variants to ensure your travel Spanish is effective. I also help advanced learners prepare for the DELE exam by sharpening their verb conjugation and accent. My background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, so we can dive deep into business Spanish or cultural context whenever you are ready. It is a long journey to fluency.
