About Suryansh
I am a trained Indian Classical vocalist, having completed Madhyama Purna with Distinction from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai. I have been trained under my Guru, Dr. Devanand Pathak, a renowned Banaras Gharana violinist, and continue to carry the depth and discipline of this tradition in my singing.
Alongside classical music, I have performed contemporary music with college bands, toured IITs and colleges, and received prizes for performances. My experience in music production has also given me a practical understanding of modern vocal techniques and musical arrangement. I enjoy sharing this knowledge and helping students develop both their voice and their musical understanding.

My classes combine the traditional foundations of Indian Classical Music with practical, personalised vocal training. We begin with the fundamentals of sur, taal, voice culture and the principles of Raag-Ragini, gradually developing your understanding and control of the voice. Alongside theory, we focus extensively on practical singing, pronunciation, breath control, pitch accuracy, expression and musicality.
Each class is adapted to your level, whether you are a beginner or already have singing experience. My aim is not simply to teach you songs, but to build a strong musical foundation and cultivate your voice so you can eventually sing with confidence, understanding and individuality.

Suryansh has a strong technical understanding of Mechanical Engineering and, more importantly, knows how to explain complex concepts in a simple and intuitive way. He is patient, detail-oriented, and makes sure the fundamentals are clear before moving ahead. I’ve found his approach very structured and practical, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a technically strong and approachable teacher.
I have personally attended many of his performances and am still impressed that how he is talented in so many instruments and is a wonderful vocalist. Have also got the opportunity to speak to a lot of his students who always had great comments for his talent and appreciation for the art.
Suryansh was one of the top mechanical engineering students in our batch, with an exceptional grasp of concepts. He explains complex topics in a clear and practical way, making learning effortless and engaging. Highly recommended for anyone looking to master mechanical engineering!
