About Aleena
I am a recent Master of Analytics graduate from AUT with a strong foundation in mathematics and a passion for teaching. My tutoring approach focuses on making complex concepts simple and understandable, tailoring each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive problem-solving to ensure students not only learn but gain confidence in their abilities. With experience tutoring students in mathematics at both Mark Academy and Jeremiah International Academy, I have helped learners of all ages strengthen their skills, improve grades, and develop a love for the subject. I focus on making mathematics engaging, clear, and practical for every student. My teaching methodology combines conceptual understanding with step-by-step problem solving, using examples and exercises tailored to each student’s learning pace. Lesson Structure:
A typical lesson lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s level and goals. I begin by reviewing previous material, introducing new concepts, practicing problems together, and ending with exercises to reinforce learning. Homework or additional practice can be provided for students who want extra support.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold a Master of Analytics from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics. I have experience tutoring students online and in person at Mark Academy (Mathematics) and Jeremiah International Academy (IELTS). I have helped learners build confidence and improve their performance through structured, personalized lessons.
