About Jon
Hello! My name is Jon and I'm a musician, audio engineer, and graphic designer residing in central Massachusetts. I've been freelancing audio and graphic design in and around the Boston and Worcester County area since my early teens. I've worked at numerous academic institutions including Bay State College and Recording Connection instructing audio engineering. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Management and Audio Production at Bay State College.
I have a passion in capturing and manipulating authentic sounds in any genre. Everything from DIY on location recording to professional studio recording, I work with any budget in mind! I specialize in punk, hardcore, and aggressive genres but I have experience in everything from Americana Country to EDM.

I offer lesson plans individual to your personal needs and goals.
Focuses include recording and audio theory, mix theory, ProTools, and mastering. I work with students of all skill levels, both in person and remotely.
Lessons are a mix of instruction and hands on exercises. For remote students, we can experiment with everything from mic placements to outboard processing from the comfort of your home.
I specialize in aggressive music like punk and hardcore, but I have experience working in almost every genre. I love to incorporate lessons with real world examples and assignments for those writing and producing their own music.
