About Ethan
Hi, my name is Ethan Wang and I graduated from Perth Modern School in 2022 with an ATAR of 99.70.
I have a passion for helping others and I would love to see my students achieve maximum results. I strongly believe that everyone has the aptitude to achieve great results if they work hard enough. I hope to see students be able to solve the more difficult questions and develop their skills in the subjects through doing lots of practice questions.
The ATAR subjects I tutor are Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Chemistry and Physics
I can teach on zoom but I strongly believe that in person tutoring is a much more effective use of time.
I can also provide you with past papers from Perth Modern School, Christ Church Grammar School and various other schools for the subjects Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Physics and Chemistry.
My tutoring location would be in the UWA Reid Library or at your house if you live near UWA.

How I approach tutoring is I basically take a look at the student's course outline and their grades and I prepare teaching material from a textbook to teach them the key concepts. The pace I go through the content would be dependent on how fast the student picks up the concepts. After that, I would try and go through some practice questions with the students to help them reinforce the content. I have had about a year of tutoring experience and can tutor ATAR (WACE curriculum) maths methods, maths specialist, physics and chemistry. I can also tutor year 7-10 maths and science and primary school maths if one needs that too.
