About Marcus
After going through all of school myself and particularly the final two years I found that I learned a lot in terms of teaching myself how to study effectively and efficiently and complete tasks/assignments which I have carried over to university life. I'm keen and eager to teach younger students to help/mentor them through the academic difficulties of school. I also understand that students need a balanced lifestyle with sports and other extracurricular activities and interests. I think it's important that any teacher/tutor recognizes this so as to not overwork the student.

I have tutored students from year 8 through year 12 and I am more than comfortable taking on students of any age. My teaching methodology revolves around efficient study and ensuring you get the most out of your time at the desk. The typical length of a lesson can vary depending on each student's concentration span as I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity when it comes to homework/study. Overall, I've had experience taking a range of students for various subjects and am very keen to continue helping students refine their study/exam techniques and cover content efficiently.
