About Aqeel
Hi, I’m Aqeel, a 2025 high school Dux with an ATAR of 98.60, and a current University of Melbourne Bachelor of Science student intending to major in Mathematics.
In VCE, I achieved:
• Specialist Mathematics: raw 44, scaled 53.44
• Mathematical Methods: raw 46, scaled 49.98
• University of Melbourne Extension Mathematics: H1 (First Class Honours)
• Chemistry: raw 42, scaled 45.19
In 2025, I was awarded a Senior Division Australian Mathematics Competition Medal and was the only student in Victoria to receive one that year.
Mathematics has always been my strongest subject, but I understand how challenging it can feel, particularly in Years 11 and 12. During my own VCE journey, I prioritised efficient, structured study rather than long, unproductive hours. I focused on understanding patterns in questions, refining technique, and building consistency.
That same clarity and structure is what I aim to provide to my students.

I teach Years 7–12 Mathematics (excluding General Mathematics), with particular strength in Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics.
Lessons are personalised and focused on:
• Deep conceptual understanding
• Structured and efficient problem-solving
• SAC and exam-style preparation
• Eliminating recurring mistakes
• Building effective study strategies
For students who are struggling, we rebuild foundations step by step. For strong students, we refine precision and exam performance to maximise marks.
My goal is not just improvement, it is long-term confidence and control over the subject.
