Subjects that I am proficient at include: All Mathematics up to Year 12 Level, Biology and Chemistry up to Year 12 Level. In these subjects, I have about a year of tutoring experience at both North Shore Coaching College and Cluey Learning Services. As my service will be provided online/remotely, I also have plenty of experience teaching online at Cluey.

High school can be a challenge for many, especially those that want to enter a competitive degree such as Dentistry or Medicine. As someone who has gone through the highs and lows of high school, I would love to share sneaky little tips and experiences to get the best mark you want! I’m someone who has taken great care with my work during school, especially as I believe in understanding content rather than memorizing facts. Cramming for exams will no longer suffice, and careful planning + hard work is the way to get high scores in modern school.
My proudest achievement in Year 12 was achieving 99th percentile in UCAT. Obviously, as many aspiring medical students/doctors know, UCAT is hands down one of the most difficult tests out there. I can offer sample questions, many different tips and tricks to maximize time management as well as help develop study plans for the big day. For year 11s, I can help them to get used to the type of questions being asked, as it is always a good idea to start early (I started preparing for UCAT in year 11!).
If you were to take one piece of advice with you: Keep being curious! Don’t just do the bare minimum, really go out of your way to enjoy what you’re learning. This will help with a deeper understanding of your subject and allow you to snatch up those difficult marks in tests that other students will struggle in.
