About Patrick
Hi, My name is Patrick Kim. I'm an experienced private and group tutor with over +50 hours of experience, offering teaching services for yr 11 students (and private help for yr 12). I achieved an ATAR of 99.6 with scores of 95/100 for CHEMISTRY, 92/100 for PHYSICS, 97/100 for Extension 1 Mathematics. I often struggled in yr 11 with chemistry, physics and mathematics, scoring abysmally despite lots of studying. However with the key implementation of effective studying strategies, exam techniques and detailed understanding of HSC syllabus, I was able to turn my marks around and score a good ATAR. I offer 2.5 hr lessons for PHYSICS and CHEMISTRY, and 2hr lessons for EXT1 MATHS for YR 11 students FOR BOTH GROUP AND PRIVATE SETTINGS (group classes can hold up to 8 students and will be held in a private space next to station) Lessons are carefully curated as to include, 1. biweekly school exam style quizzes to grow exam technique 2. custom content booklets for each week which carefully analyzes each dot point of syllabus 3.comprehensive homework and solutions to maximize practice and build up proficiency. 4. termly school-accurate examinations to ensure preparedness 5. full online 24/7 assistance for homework or any other questions. 6. access to EXTENDED RESOURCE BANK (other exams, worksheets) to ensure reliable source of further practice. All our lessons will focus on not only refining your knowledge and skill on the content of every subject, but most importantly FOCUS on EXAM TECHNIQUE TO MAXIMIZE MARKS, ensuring that YOU become the BEST STUDENT, and that YOUR KNOWLEDGE, is reflected in your mark.
