About John
Before finally deciding to major in planetary physics, I was a music composition major! Throughout my 10+ year music career, I have played 7 different brass instruments, led the US Air Force AIT choir at Sheppard AFB, and even competed for one season in a Drum Corps International (DCI) drum and bugle corps! I'm a professional and charismatic 23-year-old that loves connecting with people of all ages and skill levels through music!

Every musician has a different background, and we all learn in different ways, so my teaching method is fluid and adaptable! From choir students to harpists, from first-timers to the conservatory-bound. I learn about each student's experience with music and their most efficient learning style to tailor custom piano or music-theory lessons just for them!

Perfect! I cannot say enough wonderful things about John. John is a true mentor and great teacher; he is so friendly that my son, who is mostly shy, connected well with John the day one. And the best part: John doesn't go by the text book teaching; instead, he asks my son the songs he is interested and teaches him how to play those on the keyboard! Incredible. If you are looking for a piano teacher, search no more. John is the answer. I promise you will not be disappointed.
