About Andy
I studied astrophysics at University College London gaining a Ph.D. in 1994. After a Post-Doctoral Fellowship, I taught secondary school physics for over 27 years. I have been an exam question writer, examiner and practical exam moderator at various times during my teaching career. My recent experience and success in online tutoring has allowed me to become an independent tutor.

I look to ensure that students have a clear understanding of the material during the lesson. Notes that pertain directly to our lesson are shared. I use an interactive whiteboard approach in my online lessons and actively encourage questions and feedback. All of my lessons are tailored for individuals where we discuss the appropriate level of material.
