About Gaelyn
Writing has been my passion since I was six years old. Essays, poetry, fiction, book reports, pretty much anything that requires setting pen to paper, I am here for it! I will be graduating with my associate of arts degree this spring, and have achieved top grades in every class I have taken that includes any sort of writing. I have been teaching students ages four to fourteen in drama for a year and a half, including written character development and poetry interpretation, and have done an enormous amount of peer reviewing in the course of my college education. Writing is my thing, and I think together we could make it your thing too (or at the least give it a promotion from your least favorite subject)!

If you are looking for positivity, patience, and a relaxed but efficient approach to writing, I might just be your person! My teaching approach is simple: you tell me where you need to be, and I will get you there. If you have a fantastic idea for a creative writing project but just cannot seem to put words on paper, I can help you grow your inspiration into a sumbittable (one of my favorite made-up words) project. If essays are the bane of your existence, I can teach you methods and models that will make the entire process as smooth and simple as possible. Did you already write that paper but just cannot seem to hit the word count? I am here for it! I teach elementary through tenth grade writing, specializing in literature, history, and creative writing projects. I will meet you where you are with a smile, wherever that is. Although not required, our lesson will be more efficient and productive if you send me the project, prompt, or questions you need help with at least twelve hours in advance, especially if you need assistance that requires familiarity with source material.
