About Ritadrik
I am Ritadrik Chowdhury, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at a renowned college of engineering, where I specialize in Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI), C#, Python, and SQL. With a strong academic background and over five years of industry experience, I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. As a teacher, my approach centers on conceptual clarity, practical application, and progressive learning. I believe that effective teaching is not just about delivering information, but about inspiring curiosity and critical thinking. My methodology combines interactive lectures, live demonstrations, hands-on coding sessions, and real-world problem-solving exercises to ensure students actively engage with the subject matter rather than passively absorb it.
A typical class begins with a brief recap of the previous session to reinforce continuity, followed by a conceptual explanation using examples, diagrams, or analogies. This is followed by a practical demonstration or coding exercise, where students apply what they’ve learned. The session concludes with a discussion or short assessment aligned with Bloom’s Levels, helping students reflect on their understanding across remembering, applying, analyzing, and creating stages.
My special features as a teacher include a student-centered approach, where I adapt the pace and content based on learners’ understanding. I use technology-integrated teaching tools, encourage peer collaboration, and offer individual guidance to strengthen both conceptual and practical competencies.
