About Veronica
Hello, I’m Ms Soto, a native Spanish teacher from Madrid (Spain) and current Assistant Headteacher working in a school in London. I completed my teaching qualification in Spain, specialising in Lengua Castellana, and I am passionate about helping students achieve confidence and success in Spanish.
When I moved to London, I did not speak English, so I truly understand the journey of learning a new language from the beginning. This personal experience allows me to support my students with empathy, patience, and effective learning strategies.
I have extensive experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults, including GCSE and A-Level preparation, and I always aim to create a warm, motivating, and structured learning environment where every student can progress and enjoy the process.

My lessons are fully personalised and designed around each student’s age, level, and goals. I teach children, GCSE and A-Level students, adults, and complete beginners, creating a supportive and motivating environment where learners feel confident to participate and progress.
I live in London and moved here without speaking English, so I truly understand the process, challenges, and emotions involved in learning a new language from zero. This experience helps me teach with patience, empathy, and clear strategies that build confidence and real progress.
Lessons focus on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through clear explanations, structured practice, and engaging activities. Younger learners benefit from interactive games and visual support, exam students receive targeted preparation and proven techniques, and adults develop practical conversation and pronunciation for real-life communication.
As an Assistant Headteacher and qualified native Spanish teacher, I combine strong academic standards with a friendly and encouraging approach.
All sessions are well planned, engaging, and focused on confidence and fluency, helping every learner enjoy Spanish and achieve their goals.
