About Karla
Hi! My name is Karla, and I’ve always been passionate about learning. Growing up, I didn’t always find it easy to understand everything right away, but that experience shaped how I approach teaching today. I know how valuable it is to have someone who’s patient and willing to explain things in different ways until they make sense.
I’m interested in teaching because I believe every student learns in their own unique way, and I want to help unlock that potential. Watching students grow, gain confidence, and achieve what they once thought was difficult is incredibly rewarding for me.
My goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where you feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas, no matter how many tries it takes.

As someone who once struggled to fully grasp concepts in class, I understand how frustrating it can be when explanations just don’t make sense. My teaching approach is unique because I take the time to learn how you think and understand things before we dive into any topic. Instead of repeating the same explanation over and over, I tailor my methods to suit your individual learning style, whether it’s through visuals, examples, or hands-on practice.
Patience is key, and I am more than willing to go over something as many times as necessary until it “clicks” for you. We’ll take the time to ensure you’re confident before moving forward, so you can truly master the subject. My goal is not only to help you improve your grades but also to help you enjoy learning in a way that makes sense to you.
