About Ave
My yoga journey started in February 2012, when I took my first Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga class with Jocke Salokorpi. It felt like love at first sight — I felt like I had come home. Over the years, my personal practice has become more playful and flexible, and I also use modifications when needed, but traditional Ashtanga is still very close to my heart.
As my practice grew, I also wanted to learn more and share yoga with others. In 2020, I completed a children’s yoga teacher training with Kerli Adov. In 2021, I completed my 200-hour international yoga teacher training at Inbodhi Yoga Tallinn and became a RYT 200 teacher. In 2022, I continued my education with a 50-hour Yoga Alliance Vinyasa training at Black Dog Yoga Studio.
When I first started Ashtanga Yoga, I saw it mainly as a physical challenge. Over time, I realized that it is also a practice for the mind. Yoga has taught me to listen more closely to my body and my thoughts and has helped me find more balance in both my body and mind. It has become a part of my lifestyle and continues to help me grow and learn every day.

My Ashtanga Yoga lessons are open to all levels, whether you're completely new to yoga or looking to deepen your existing practice.
In Ashtanga Yoga, the breath guides every movement. I help students become more aware of their bodies, move with attention, and progress at their own pace. I don’t believe in forcing postures. Instead, I teach students to listen to their bodies and practice in a safe and mindful way.
Every lesson is adapted to you, with clear guidance and support as you learn the Ashtanga Primary Series. Goal is to help students understand the practice well enough to become independent practitioners over time.
I am especially looking to work with students who are ready to commit to their practice and take it seriously. If you're willing to show up consistently and put in the effort, I'll be fully dedicated to supporting your journey.
