About Paloma
Hi, I'm Nashira!
I'm a Machine Learning PhD researcher at KCL. My research uses deep learning to model neonatal brain development — building AI that helps us understand how newborn brains grow and change. In my spare time I train neural networks to play video games, so AI is genuinely something I live and breathe.
I graduated first in my class, won the Engineering Institute of Technology Prize, and am a published ML researcher. I've spent 3 years as a university Teaching Assistant and know exactly where students get stuck — and how to get them unstuck.
