About Amy
I am an artist through and through. I studied Fine Art at Stellenbosch University, worked as a curator for Art Galleries, and am now teaching Visual Arts at highschool level.
However I am not a stereotypical artist in the sense that I am also very mathematically inclined and love academics and the theory behind every great artwork. Art communicates to all people and makes a commentary on the world in which we live and I want others to enjoy its freedom as much as I do!

I am a High School Visual Arts Teacher. In these lessons we will adapt to where you need tutoring in your field of art. This includes the theory that is covered in the CAPS Curriculum for grades 10-12, how to analyse an artwork for your exam, pointers on improving practical assessment artworks (mixed media, painting drawing, sculpture), and how to properly put together a sourcebook.
