About Ruiqi
Ruiqi Gu is a curator, researcher, and mentor at Rockaway Design Consulting. He is currently pursuing his MA in Visual Arts Administration at NYU Steinhardt and holds a BA in Art History from Concordia University. He has worked with institutions including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Gurr Johns, and CHUNMuseum, and is the co-founder of the New York–based contemporary art foundation Dawn Eleven. Ruiqi’s practice bridges East Asian and North American contemporary art and is grounded in storytelling, critical theory, and cross-cultural dialogue. As a mentor, he brings clarity, patience, and deep insight to help students uncover and articulate the unknown within themselves.
