About Ying
I'm a fashion designer and mother of 10-year-old, I learned painting since I was kid. I've got a master's degree in Fashion in the UK. I have been teaching kids painting for 4 years, my daughter's work has been selected by the RA Young Artist Summer Show 3 years in a row.

Objectives To help kids to build up their confidence, to nurture them and broaden their vision, to find what they like and are good at and get ready for more professional art studies. Year 1-2 1.5 hours Using a range of materials to create paintings, to develop and share their ideas, experiences, and imagination. To try different painting techniques and understand the difference. Such as watercolour, Chinese Painting, acrylic, oil pastels, crayons and other materials. To know about the work of a range of artists and learn how to blend colours from them. Year 3-4 and older 2 hours To continue developing their techniques, including their control and their use of materials, with creativity, experimentation and an increasing awareness of different kinds of art. To have more observation practice and start to do more detailed work. -------------------

Ying really managed to bring out my children’s confidence in their art work and encouraged them to commit to their ideas and marks instead of wanting to re do. She is incredibly patient and gives space for each child's individuality and inspires them when they are slow with their creations.
Both my children love their art lessons with Ying, she prepares so well the lessons and adapt them to their passions. They have explored their creativity as well as more advanced techniques.
I really love the way Ying teaches her students. Every kid has her/his own style also so creative and fun!
Excellent teacher, caring and professional. Also really knows her stuff about the different styles and methods!
My daughter has had painting lessons with Ying and the work that she produces is unbelievable! Ying is a very talented tutor, working with their strengths to develop wonderful artistic skills.
