About Unity
I'm currently a trainee Art & Design teacher with less than 2 months left on my course. I have received two distinctions for my masters credits whilst on my PGCE course and have secured my NQT position for September.
I have proven myself to be a passionate and enthusiastic teacher within my subject and love nothing more than inspiring young students to engage with art. Whilst training I have also taught English Literature lessons (for which I received an A at A-Level) and would be equally thrilled to help tutor in this subject. Similarly, I received an A in History at A-Level and would be comfortable tutoring this subject.
I absolutely love teaching, but also love learning. I believe this is incredibly important when tutoring young people as it allows them to be involved in the teaching process. I've found my teaching style is very much an attempt to encourage students to be able to work independently and explore their own ideas whilst offering my own expertise to allow them to flourish.
Within my school, I have offered extra-curricular to offer tutoring to those that need extra help during their AS and A-Level Art & Design courses. I am capable of offering 1-to-1 guidance that is focussed on the student and love nothing more putting my own time aside to do my own research into a project so I can offer tailored feedback and guidance to individuals.
