About Kacper
So, other than being called Kacper, I'm a 19 year old student currently studying in Edinburgh. I want to teach because I often help my friends with their subjects and honestly it feels quite rewarding to be able to show people the general thought process and see them make the connections themselves on how to solve certain problems. Especially that moment of 'oh, I get it now' - it's nice to see that my advice helps them. Given that I've completed my National 5s with straight A1s, I feel very confident in being able to apply these same teaching methods to National 5 subjects. Besides, I want to get people to like the subjects that I teach - the more people that do them, the better! I hate seeing people dislike subjects because they can't get the hang of them - when you get the hang of them, they're a real joy!

I believe that students learn best through being shown and being able to develop their own methods of thinking about certain subjects. For example, with maths, I believe it is very important to give students that helping nudge into deriving certain equations - as one of my favourite posters say: "if you make the discovery yourself, you're more likely to remember it." My lessons would usually be 30 minutes minimum and up to 2 hours maximum, depending on how much help the student needs. I am currently a tutor in my own school and am on standby to help anyone struggling with National 5 Computing Science. My lessons are for S3s & S4s currently studying National 5s who require help with the following subjects: Nat 5 Computing Science Nat 5 Mathematics Nat 5 Physics Nat 5 Engineering Science In general, anyone who is willing to learn is welcome to get in touch! :)
