About Matthew
Playing music is my passion of mine and I since 14 years of age, I dedicated much time to listening and learning guitar. My love of music spans across many genres and I have influenced my music creation. In my 20's I played in bands and enjoyed the experience of performing to audiences. I have a music studio in the Tweed area whereby I teach students from all backgrounds and record their creations.

My teaching method is tailored to the student. Some students come to me with a very specific taste in music and like to talk about their passion and guide the lesson through their interest. I always employ the 'I do, we do and you do' method of teaching. I also provide students with an MP4 of the song they are learning so they can take it away and practice in between sessions.
