About Chow
My name is Yao, and I'm a passionate and experienced Chinese tutor. I have a deep understanding of the language, but more importantly, I love sharing it with others. My goal is to help you not only learn Chinese but also to feel confident and comfortable using it. I believe that learning a new language should be an exciting journey, not a chore. My Approach to Tutoring & Teaching Methodology: My primary goal is to make learning Chinese enjoyable and stress-free. My approach is centered on practical, conversational Chinese, so you can start using what you learn from day one. Typical Lesson Length: Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I'm flexible and can adjust to your schedule and learning pace. We can discuss a longer or shorter session if you prefer. Qualifications/Experience: I am a native Chinese speaker with a deep passion for teaching my language and culture. I have extensive experience in private tutoring for students of all ages and backgrounds. I'm adept at explaining complex concepts in a simple, understandable way, and I'm able to communicate in English, which allows me to effectively communicate with beginners and guide them through their learning journey with ease. Who are my lessons for? My lessons are perfect for anyone looking to learn Chinese in a fun and supportive environment. I specialize in teaching beginners (children and adults) who have little to no prior knowledge of the language.
