About Ethan
Hello! I am Ethan, an architecture student at UNC Charlotte. I have a background in AP, IB, and dual enrollment courses including calculus, Latin, psychology, human geo and more. I have previously tutored in Math 1, 2 and Latin 1 and 2. My philosophy is that it's possible for anyone to learn anything with the proper support, I like to focus on building an understanding of why things are done the way they are to build a core grasp on the subject. I believe it's crucial to focus on the "why" of a subject rather than the "how". This is particularly true in math where it is easy to get stuck in just figuring out how to do something. As someone that struggled early on, I understand what it is like to simply "not get it" but having overcome that I'm confident I can help you work through whatever you need help with. These lessons are for those struggling with middle or high school math or embarking on their Latin journey. A lesson will entail working through a series of problems that cover the needed concepts, a step at a time with background and repetition. We will break everything down, focusing on segments at a time to identify and isolate struggle areas to be as efficient with your time and education as possible.
