About Lata
My passion for architecture began with observing how spaces influence behavior and evoke emotion. This led me to pursue a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Sustainable Design, gaining both technical skills and creative insight. Over 7 years, I have guided students in developing strong conceptual clarity, design thinking, and spatial reasoning through structured lessons that encourage curiosity and personal expression. I emphasize patience, adaptability, and hands-on learning. Lessons combine sketches, models, and discussions to provide a full understanding of design principles while supporting each student’s unique creative voice. I strive to create an environment where learners feel safe to experiment, explore, and refine their ideas. Beyond teaching, I engage with sustainable design studies, urban planning analysis, and architectural research. Sharing real-world perspectives enriches lessons and inspires students to approach projects thoughtfully. Seeing learners transform their ideas into well-executed designs is deeply fulfilling and reinforces my commitment to nurturing creativity and professional growth.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students learn to translate ideas into visually compelling and functional spaces. My lessons focus on design fundamentals, spatial reasoning, sketching, model building, material understanding, and conceptual development. I emphasize structured guidance combined with creative freedom, helping learners express their imagination while understanding technical constraints. Each session encourages experimentation, iterative thinking, and confident expression of ideas in a supportive, motivating environment.
For advanced students, lessons include architectural composition, project planning, portfolio preparation, urban design concepts, and sustainable solutions. I integrate case studies, critique sessions, and problem-solving exercises to build clarity, analytical thinking, and professional presentation skills. Every lesson strengthens both creativity and logical reasoning, helping learners develop a well-rounded understanding of architectural practice.
Studying architecture fosters critical observation, creative expression, and problem-solving skills that extend beyond academics. Students learn to articulate ideas visually, solve spatial challenges, and appreciate the human impact of design. My goal is to help learners grow as imaginative, confident thinkers capable of translating concepts into meaningful, functional designs that reflect both creativity and technical understanding.
