About Sonali
I want to teach because I have been in a similar position to you during school. The stress of exams, not knowing what to do, piling last minute - and I just want to motivate you, realise that everything will be okay.
Having someone there who knows what it's exactly like without putting any pressure on you can really make you feel proud of whatever you have achieved.
I am catering to mainly art and design students because I know how much the art you create can mean to you, and how many hours or all-nighters it can take to perfect the smallest painting. I want to make sure I can help you be happy with your work, but also be a fresh set of eyes.

About the lesson

As I have now moved to Ireland (still eligible to work in the UK though), I will have to do my lessons online.
We can have 1-3 hour lessons (depending on how you feel, whether you want to make art in the class or just discuss). I can help you with the sketchbook process that the exam board wants. We can then see which stage you are up to (eg, artist studies, or near-final exams) to know how to develop your project. We will also enhance your given themes with more research and readings, and find ways to visually portray this.
The classes will be tailored to your work and interests. I only want to be there to push your ideas, interests, and skills, but also to make sure you are hitting the learning objectives of the exam board.
We will look into different media and techniques that you can use and I can show you these techniques and how to do them quicker, not everything has to be perfect - I learned this now when I look back at my GCSE's.
I will be teaching secondary school to GCSE level as I don't have experience as a tutor, but I have experience being in the same position as you and I just want you to feel happy about your work. Artists can really judge their own talents.
