About Riya
As an architecture tutor with a passion for sustainable design, urban planning, and architectural history, I bring 4 years of hands-on experience to my teaching approach. My journey in architecture has deepened my understanding of how thoughtful design can shape communities and environments. Through tailored university lessons, I aim to empower students with practical skills and theoretical insights that go beyond textbooks.
Outside of architecture, I indulge in hobbies that complement my creative mindset. Hiking provides me with a fresh perspective on spatial relationships and natural forms, which often inspire my design concepts. Reading is a constant pursuit, where I explore architectural theories, historical influences, and contemporary trends to enrich my teaching and personal projects. Additionally, I find solace in painting, where I experiment with colors and textures, drawing parallels to the artistic elements embedded in architectural design.
