About Michael
I’ve been teaching high school for 8 years, and I know how stressful it can be. I’ve helped tons of students with different learning styles boost their scores—especially on Regents exams—by breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense. No confusing explanations, just real help that works! Before teaching, I spent over 10 years as an architect, so I bring real-world experience to math and design. I’ve taught Algebra 1 & 2 (Trigonometry), Geometry, Pre-Calc, and Financial Math, where students learn real-life skills like banking, credit cards, and resume writing. I also teach drafting—both by hand and with programs like AutoCAD and SketchUp—as well as design software like Photoshop. I make lessons clear, practical, and even fun (I promise, math can be fun… at least fun-ish!). My students always appreciate my patience, humor, and ability to explain things in a way that actually clicks. Let’s work together and get you feeling confident!

Need help with math, design, or real-world skills? I’ve got you! As a former architect turned teacher, I make Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, and Financial Math easy with real-world examples. I’ve helped students understand banking, car loans, credit cards, paystubs, and resumes—skills that matter in real life!
I’ve also taught drafting (AutoCAD, SketchUp), Photoshop, AP English, and social studies. With 8 years of experience teaching high school seniors, my students loved my engaging, down-to-earth approach. Whether you’re struggling with math, looking to sharpen design skills, or need support in other subjects, I tailor lessons to your learning style and make tough topics simple. Let’s make learning practical, useful, and fun!
