About Anushka
As an experienced tutor with a strong foundation in both architecture and fine arts, I bring a high level of professionalism and dedication to each session. My background in architecture provides me with an expert understanding of design principles, spatial composition, and structure, all of which I apply to my teaching of art and craft techniques. Additionally, with three years of fine arts training, I possess hands-on expertise in watercolor, painting, and craft journaling that allows me to guide students with confidence and clarity.
Professionalism is at the heart of my teaching approach. I believe in creating a structured, organized environment where students feel supported, respected, and inspired. My lessons are carefully planned to blend technique demonstrations with guided practice and personalized feedback, ensuring that each student receives the guidance they need to progress confidently.
I also understand the importance of clear communication and patience, especially with students aged 12-18 who are discovering their artistic voices. n my art tutoring, I emphasize both foundational skills and creative exploration, offering lessons in watercolor, painting, and art journaling. I tailor each session to the needs of students aged 12-18, encouraging them to develop technical skills while discovering their unique creative voices. Each class typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, with time dedicated to demonstrations, hands-on practice, and individualized feedback. This structure allows students to learn techniques such as brush control, color mixing, and layering, while also expressing their own ideas and reflections through journaling.
With my background in architecture and three years of fine arts experience, I bring a unique perspective to teaching. My architectural training helps me guide students on spatial composition, perspective, and design principles, while my passion for fine arts enables me to inspire them to experiment and grow. I provide a safe, supportive environment where students can take creative risks and build confidence, whether they’re refining technical skills or working on self-expression. My ultimate goal is to instill a lifelong appreciation for art, fostering both skill development and personal growth through the creative process, allowing students to see art as a powerful form of self-discovery.
