About Ryma
My name is Reema. I am a native Arabic speaker with over 8 years of teaching experience, catering to both native and non-native speakers. My fluency encompasses all aspects of the Arabic language: speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and the Quran. Being bilingual, I've spent 14 years of my educational journey in the Middle East. I earned my Master's degree in Public Administration and Policy from the University of Baltimore, where I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. Over the past 8 years, I've tutored in the United States as well as in other countries, extending my expertise to both adults and children. I'm adept at teaching all levels of Arabic, from foundational basics to the intricacies of the language. I always tailor my teaching approach to meet individual student needs. Teaching Method and Techniques:
As an Arabic tutor, I believe in adopting a holistic and student-centered approach. I focus on incorporating the four key language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. My teaching method integrates both Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and relevant dialects, based on the student's interests and needs. I employ multimedia resources, such as videos, music, and interactive exercises, to make lessons engaging and relevant. To further promote understanding, I also incorporate cultural lessons to give students a broader perspective of the Arabic-speaking world.

Perfect! Very informative and helpful
Perfect! Ryma is the perfect Arabic teacher. I went to Arabic Sunday school for 12 years and have learned more in my 5 weeks with (once a week frequency) with Ryma than I did in those 12 years . Could not recommend more!

Perfect! My daughter has been studying Arabic with Ryma after taking a liking to the language from a semester study in college, and it’s been an excellent experience. Standard Hourly Rate: My base rate for a 1-hour session is $40. This rate ensures that each student receives individualized attention, tailored lesson plans, and ample resources to aid in their learning.
Discounted Packages: I offer package deals to provide more value for committed students. You can avail of a 5-hour package for $200 or a 10-hour package for $400. These packages are designed to ensure consistency in learning and offer a cost-effective solution for students looking for long-term tutoring.
Webcam Sessions: For students who prefer online lessons, I offer webcam sessions at a reduced rate of $30 per hour. This mode of teaching is interactive and as effective as in-person sessions, with the added benefit of flexibility and convenience.
Travel Fee: If you'd prefer in-person sessions and need me to travel to your location, there is an additional $10 fee to cover transportation costs. This ensures that I can reach you punctually and provide the same high-quality tutoring regardless of location.
Free Introductory Lesson: For those who are unsure or want to get a feel of my teaching style, I offer a complimentary 30-minute introductory lesson. This session allows us to discuss your goals, assess your current level, and chart out a learning path tailored to your needs.
