About Rosie
I am a motivated A-level student predicted three A* grades, with a strong interest in English and helping younger students build confidence in their learning. I know that English can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on making lessons clear, supportive and tailored to each student’s needs.
I enjoy helping students improve their reading, writing and exam skills step by step, in a calm and encouraging way. I am patient, organised and reliable, and I take pride in being well prepared for every lesson. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, understood and confident to achieve their best.

I teach English up to GCSE level and offer flexible lesson lengths from 30 minutes to two hours. I have two years of mentoring experience at Cranbrook Grammar School, working with students in Years 8 to 11, including delivering weekly GCSE English Literature masterclasses for groups of up to fifteen students. I am also a prefect, regularly working with younger year groups and responding to student feedback. My lessons are structured, supportive and tailored to each student. We begin by focusing on any target areas that need extra support, before working through the preferred specification in a clear and organised way. Lessons include explanation, discussion and exam-style practice, with small focus tasks set between sessions to support independent learning. I am happy to share lesson content in advance and welcome students of all abilities and confidence levels.
