About Kathryn
I am a third-year student at Loyola University Chicago studying Applied Mathematics with aspirations to go to graduate school to study Computational Biology. I have tutored for my school for over 4 semesters, as well as done private tutoring for families in my hometown and community. I am a research-driven individual, meaning most of my professional goals revolve around research-driven practices, and data-proven methods of creating an effective and welcoming for learning.

My teaching method primarily relies on using a student's current knowledge as a launching point to extend their knowledge. Typically, I ask that materials be sent to me at least 12 hours before the session so I can identify where gaps in learning and understanding are and create a personalized learning experience for all students. I have multiple years of both individualized tutoring, as well as teaching small groups of students who are learning different concepts.
I have very flexible scheduling seven days a week and have experience tutoring all grades between kindergarten to high school.
