About Laurie
The crisp resonance of a well-pronounced vowel indicates a mind attuned to the subtle mechanics of French. My teaching character relies on high expectations and clear, logical explanations of grammar and verb conjugation. I completed an MA Applied Linguistics at RMIT to formalize my understanding of how languages function in the brain.
Over 13 years of experience, I have developed techniques to refine accent and intonation. I enjoy working with intermediate learners, advanced learners, travelers, and hobbyists who appreciate methodical study. We look at writing skills and idioms to bridge the gap between textbook French and real life.
