About Jacob
I'm a sociable and helpful person who works well with others and would like to aid younger students in English or humanities.
I'm an Anthropology and Religious Studies student at Otago University who is considering a career in education. I really enjoy reading, learning new things, and art. At high school, English was my favorite class and I was awarded top in my year. I would love to help others do well in the subject.

I can help younger students with essay writing and exam preparation. This can look like a session of developing writing skills and discussing the content/argument of an essay. I can also bring past exams or material to analyze together in a literary/academic context. These specific lesson contents depend on the student's needs.
I have helped younger students with English as a school prefect before, and have also tutored a junior group for a philosophy competition. As well as this, I also work really well with younger people and am a high achieving university student.
These experiences have equipped me to help high school students with writing skills, critical thinking, and literary or historic analysis.
