Hi, I am Aneesha, I passed GCSE French with a grade 9 and also took French at A-Levels. I have thereby honed my French vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

About Aneesha
I am a passionate French tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students build confidence in the language. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE French and also took French at A-Level.
During sixth form, I was a French Student Ambassador, where I promoted the French language and encouraged younger students to study it. At A-Level, I independently studied the French novel Un Sac de Bille and analysed the film La Haine, giving me a strong understanding of the analytical and essay-writing techniques required for advanced French. I can also help students develop sophisticated vocabulary and the skills needed to analyse French texts and films with confidence.
As a student myself, I understand the topics that learners often find challenging. That's why I focus on making French logical, approachable and enjoyable. I teach using effective methods and high-quality resources that I have studied throughout my three years of learning French, and I can guide you towards the most useful resources to support your own learning. Every lesson is tailored to your level and your goals, whether you're just starting out or preparing for GCSE or A-Level examinations.

My teaching style is patient, supportive and tailored to your individual needs. We can start from the very basics without any pressure or embarrassment—there's no need to feel shy if you're a complete beginner. I'll first understand your current level and learning goals, then plan each lesson accordingly so that it matches your pace and requirements.
I make French grammar simple and easy to remember. Instead of expecting you to memorise endless verb conjugations, I'll teach you clear rules and memory techniques that make them much easier to recall. Every topic is reinforced with plenty of targeted practice questions and exercises, helping you build confidence through regular practice. We will also focus on pronunciation and clearing any doubts along the way.
I never rush through lessons. We will only move on to the next topic once you have fully understood the current one. My aim is to make French enjoyable, logical and easy to learn while building a strong foundation that allows you to progress confidently to more advanced topics.
