About Eli
Hello! My name is Eli and I live in London - but I've lived in many different countries up until now, including Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Scotland!
I'm a bit of a nerd for the English language - it is my native language, and I studied it throughout school and even went on to do a degree in English literature at university.
I've always enjoyed teaching young people - working in summer camps, running drama workshops at charity organisations, and tutoring students at university.
I love reading, going to the cinema, and having barbecues in the park.

I take a structured, methodical approach to teaching, making sure we hit essential points that you need covering, while leaving as much space as possible to cater the lessons to your learning style. Whether you're a visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learner, I will make sure you're getting the most out of our sessions, so you're prepared for any upcoming classes, tasks, essays or tests.
Lesson lengths can vary from 30-90 minutes depending on what you need.
I work with a variety of different ages and levels, from ESL for 8-13 year olds, to iGCSE and IB work with age 14+.
For older students, I specialise in tutoring English Language, English Literature, Film Studies and Theatre Studies.
I'm experienced with working with young people under 18, having tutored throughout university, and worked in summer camps and workshops for several years.
