About Andrew
Andrew endeavours to create a productive and engaging learning environment where students are comfortable asking for help and feel reassured. This has had good results with a number of tutees gaining 2 grade improvements and 80% achieving an A* or their target grade. This emphasises Andrew’s key specialism as an exam specialist, able to break down complex assessment mark schemes and communicate what a student needs to do in practical terms. Andrew is an amazing tutor. He finds a unique approach to every student, changing his teaching style for everyone to understand. I've never seen him teaching the same style to two different students! He emphasizes on encouraging students, structuring their knowledge and giving tips on what are the core things they need to know for the exam. He also provides students with out-of-curriculum citations and facts that are needed to get an A*!
