About Sebastien
Hey! My name is Seb, it's nice to meet you I am a former college student who sat A-level Computer Science in June 2024 and achieved an A*. (Before that, I got a grade 9 in GCSE Computer Science.) Now I want to help other people reach the grades they need for college, university, an apprenticeship or other work.

My lessons are focused on the GCSE or A-level specifications, depending on your level, and what they could ask you in the exam. These are linear qualifications, meaning that your grade is (mostly) determined by one set of exams at the end of the course. By working toward these exams from day one, you'll know what to expect and be able to answer anything that comes your way. We will review topics using spaced repetition, which is a powerful tool for retaining information. Lessons will also include content on programming, which is an essential skill for the GCSE and A-level.
Lessons can be between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the time you need, up to twice a week. Longer lessons can be arranged in advance, if it would be useful to you, or in the run-up to summer exams.
Having sat A-level Computer Science exams in 2024, I have a comprehensive understanding of the subject; I can assist you with all topics on the OCR A-level and GCSE specifications from theory (computer systems, networks, legislation and ethics) to programming. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE and an A* at A-level in Computer Science.
