About Sidelane
My name is Bukenya Patrick from Kampala, Uganda, and Luganda is my mother tongue. I grew up speaking it at home, in school, and in the market.
I love teaching my language and culture to people from around the world. I am patient, friendly and I make learning easy.
I have helped friends, missionaries and visitors in Kampala to speak Luganda with confidence.
I want to help you speak like a local, not just from a book. When you learn with me, you learn real Luganda and real Ugandan life.

Wasuze otya! I am a native Luganda speaker from Kampala, Uganda.
I teach Luganda to beginners in a simple, fun and practical way. No boring grammar.
You will learn real Luganda for daily life: greetings, market talk, boda talk, directions, family talk, and how to survive in Kampala without a translator.
I also speak fluent English, so I explain everything clearly.
My lessons are conversation based. You will speak from the first lesson. After 30 minutes you will know 20 Luganda words.
I teach missionaries, NGO workers, visitors, and Ugandans in diaspora who want to connect with family.
