About Urace
I am a dedicated violin tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching college students. I focus on helping students improve technique, musical understanding, and confidence through clear and supportive lessons. My teaching style is creative, student-centered, and mentor-based. I help students develop strong basics such as posture, bow movement, finger placement, rhythm accuracy, and tone quality.
I also guide students in musical expression and performance confidence. I use modern and innovative teaching tools including slow practice methods, recording analysis, guided listening, and structured lesson planning. These methods help students stay motivated and see steady progress. I also teach basic music theory and sight-reading in a clear and simple way. Accountability is central to my lessons.
I help students set weekly practice goals, follow consistent routines, and track improvement. I provide encouraging and honest feedback. Along with violin, I can also teach supporting subjects like rhythm training, ear training, and performance preparation. My lessons are friendly, focused, and suitable for college students. Creativity plays an important role in my lessons. I include expressive exercises, musical storytelling, and creative bowing patterns to keep students engaged.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain technical and musical concepts clearly. I guide students through tone production, finger accuracy, bow control, and posture. Students learn to analyze their playing and improve independently.
