Since mathematics is the systematic manipulation of numbers.I do ensure that mathematics looks more real to my learner by adopting these strategies:
(1) PLAYING MATHS GAMES:The game makes the child feels relax and then sees maths as fun to learn
(2)VISUALIZATION AND IMAGES: After the game i tend to use symbols to show the child what mathematics shapes are all about
(3)CONNECT: Gradually i will link the child into the topic of the by connecting maths with other learning areas the child loves so mach.(4)MATHS STORY TIME:I usually end with a story on the topic we talked abouty
