About Krystyna

Homeschoolers and honors students alike often find themselves stuck when the math stops making sense. You might feel like you are not a math person, but I suspect you just lack a clear framework for these problems. As a PhD candidate in Mathematics at Vanderbilt University, I have worked with over 100 students to rewire their approach to logic.

My style is sharp and efficient because I know your time is valuable. I prefer working with people who are willing to be wrong out loud. We will start with the basics of linear equations and polynomials to find the gaps in your knowledge. I break things down until they are almost insultingly small before we rebuild the reasoning together.

Forget about memorizing formulas for 10 minutes only to lose them later. Focus instead on understanding the mechanics behind quadratic equations and rational expressions. Let me know if you want to try a session and see how this feels.

Real confidence in algebra comes from the ability to reconstruct a proof from nothing. Mastery of the quadratic formula or systems of equations is not about speed, but about the patience to disassemble a problem.

I bring 5 years of tutoring experience to help you navigate inequalities, sequences, and complex functions. You will see how completing the square actually works when we remove the mystery from the steps. The math stays the same regardless of your current grade level or your background. We will tackle graphs and expressions with a focus on logical consistency rather than rote repetition.

This is about changing how you think about your homework rather than just getting the right answer. We will reach your goals by building a foundation that stays solid.
