About Alexandru
Alexandru Podasca teaches the English language and European history. He has completed his studies at NTNU and achieved a master's degree in English literature. Additionally, his knowledge and experience with music come from 10 years of studying and performing as a pianist in Romania, and also from finishing the Arts High School in Mosjøen, Norway. As a teacher, he is most concerned with making the subject easier and more satisfying.

Alex teaches piano and music theory for all ages and at all levels. Among other things, his teaching includes,
- Classical piano (for those who want to learn classical piano pieces)
- Pop
- Jazz
Alex combines several teaching methodologies and his experience as a classical pianist to adapt each lesson to the student's level and desire. His focus is on developing basic skills for piano which are necessary for reaching one's full potential. Some examples of such skills are coordination between hands, notes and chord chart reading, and technical exercises.
Teaching philosophy
Alex provides a variety of musical genres for his student to help them find the music they enjoy the most. By tailoring the lessons for each student, Alex seeks to motivate and inspire them to develop their skills while being satisfied with their accomplishments.
