I am a trained teacher who graduated from the University of Alberta B. Ed program. I have taught math skills from pre-kindergarten to grades 11. I have attended additional professional development in supporting numeracy. Additionally, I have experience tutoring struggling and gifted students.

My teaching methods tend to be very hands on. I am well verse in technology that supports math education. Think a personable version of a Khan Academy video. As someone who was previously afraid of math, I try to infuse fun and humor into my lessons. We will start by identifying what skills you (your child) is struggling with and target these areas through fun and engaging lessons.
