I will provide tailored support to each of my students to assess their areas of weakness and bring these topics on par with their strengths.
Example session plan (1 hour) :
5 mins: Recap of last sessions aims/ Overview of what will be looked at in this session
10 mins: Critically analyse any homework set and identify root cause of errors and how to avoid them the future (if hw set)
40 mins: Covering this lesson’s objectives
Will be done in an active way including a specially designed presentation with theory as well as discussions. The increased emphasis on application of theory by exam boards shows how imperative active discussion and dissection of subject matter is.
5 mins: Recap of lesson content and opportunity for synoptic discussion of lesson content
An open working environment will be instilled from the very first session to ensure the student works at their most productive.
