About Hugh
I have studied Physics at A-level (achieving an A), and currently study it extensively with my Aerospace engineering degree (achieving a first for year 1). Physics based modules I have studied include: Dynamics, statics, materials, thermofluids, electronics and mechanics of flight.
I am part of the space-flight society, at which we build various rockets and rocket engines for competitions, this requires the practical use of Physics and gives me great experience in actually applying my theoretical knowledge.
I also enjoy experimenting with Physics in my spare time: creating circuits with arduinos and experimenting with their applications in projects. The current project I am attempting to make is a plant regulator for the water, sun and feeding of my house plant.

I am a student who has not always been academically inclined and as such understand the challenges that a struggling student may face with difficult subjects such as Physics. I, therefore, appreciate the necessity of a patient, encouraging teacher in education, this shows in my teaching methods where I will never get frustrated and will take as long as the student needs to dissect a topic.
Lessons with me would typically be an hour long, with a student either selecting a topic beforehand allowing me to come with prepared material, or, completely understandably, deciding on a topic during the lesson, tailoring the lesson as it progresses to the student's needs and ideas.
