About Harrison
Hi, I’m Harrison! I know how stressful Maths can feel sometimes — but I honestly believe that anxiety around it usually comes from past experiences with impatient teachers, not the subject itself. That’s why I focus on being a friendly, supportive face rather than someone you feel you have to answer to. I want my lessons to be a space where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that’s how you really learn. When I teach, I don’t just throw formulae at you — I explain the logic and reasoning behind the Maths so it actually makes sense. At the same time, I keep things clear and to the point, so you’re never overwhelmed with too much information at once. I’m studying Aerospace Engineering at a Russell Group university, and I’m super confident with everything in the GCSE syllabus. I’ve also spent the past three years helping family and friends with Maths, and I’ve realised how much I love that moment when something clicks for someone. That’s why I know tutoring is perfect for me — and I’d love to help you feel more confident with Maths, too!

I believe the best way to teach is with a patient and empathetic approach, understanding that everyone has their own strengths and areas for improvement. Communication is key — the better I understand how you learn, the more effectively I can help you succeed. I’m a passionate and talented mathematician studying Aerospace Engineering at a Russell Group university, and I’ve had three years of informal experience teaching family and friends. My lessons are designed for GCSE and AS Maths students and will last around an hour, with flexible scheduling to suit your needs. Sessions will be interactive and informative, with a strong focus on working through multiple practice questions to keep you engaged and reinforce your understanding.
