About Aidan
Hi, my name is Aidan, and I recently graduated from Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in spacecraft systems. Throughout my degree, I developed a strong passion for mathematics, physics, engineering design, and problem-solving, and I enjoy helping others gain confidence in subjects that can often feel overwhelming at first.
In addition to my academic background, I have industry experience working in aerospace engineering as well as research experience in advanced manufacturing, robotics, additive manufacturing, and engineering analysis. During my studies, I worked on a variety of large-scale engineering projects, including autonomous robotic systems, satellite servicing concepts, and award-winning engineering design competitions. These experiences taught me not only the technical side of engineering, but also how important communication, patience, and mentorship are when learning difficult material.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I always aim to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through challenges at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve grades and performance, but also to help them genuinely understand and enjoy the subjects they are studying.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of concepts rather than simple memorization. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and work through problems step-by-step to help students develop confidence, intuition, and problem-solving skills. I believe the best way to learn engineering, math, and physics is by understanding how concepts apply to real systems and real-world challenges.
A typical lesson begins with identifying areas of difficulty, reviewing the underlying theory in a clear and simplified way, and then working through guided examples together before moving into independent practice and more advanced applications. I also help students improve study habits, technical communication, and exam preparation strategies.
What sets me apart is my combination of academic, research, and industry experience. I recently completed an Aerospace Engineering degree with a spacecraft concentration and have worked in aerospace engineering, advanced manufacturing, robotics, additive manufacturing, and hands-on engineering design projects. I have experience applying concepts such as mechanics, controls, CAD, MATLAB, physics, and mathematics to real engineering systems, which allows me to explain topics in a practical and engaging way.
Lessons are available for middle school, high school, college, and university students. I can help with mathematics, physics, engineering courses, MATLAB, CAD/design software, robotics, and engineering project or capstone support.
