About Quierra
I’m an Aerospace Engineering graduate with a strong academic background (GPA 3.85) and hands-on experience working as an engineering intern at Boeing. Math has always been a subject I genuinely enjoy, and I love helping others feel more confident and capable in it.
As a tutor, I’m patient, encouraging, and well-prepared. I take time to understand each student’s goals and learning style, and I create a supportive environment where questions are always welcome. I know math can feel intimidating, so I focus on breaking concepts down in a way that feels manageable and clear.
I take pride in being reliable, organized, and professional in every session. Students and parents can expect clear communication, structured lessons, and a tutor who truly cares about their progress. My goal is not just better grades, but helping students believe in their ability to succeed.

My approach as a tutor is focused on clarity, patience, and building confidence. I start by understanding where the student is struggling and how they learn best. I explain concepts step-by-step, emphasizing the “why” behind formulas so students can apply them independently.
A typical lesson includes a quick review, guided problem-solving, and practice questions with real-time feedback. I adjust the pace as needed and make sure students leave with a solid understanding, not confusion.
What sets me apart is my engineering background. As an Aerospace Engineering graduate with real-world experience, I teach math as a practical tool rather than abstract memorization. I’m especially supportive of students with math anxiety.
My lessons are for middle school, high school, and early college students taking Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus.
